What is a flower CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture and is a model for buying local flowers and supporting local farms and farmers. This subscription model helps financially support our farm operations while members share in the risk and rewards of the harvest with us.

what do i get in my flower share?

A weekly share reflects the current growing season. It is the freshest local flowers available on our urban farm in Denton, TX. Each week, flowers will come as:

a beautifully wrapped bouquet, an arrangement, bud vase/s or any combination of the three. This is dependent on the best way to get our flowers to you in the most beautiful way possible.

How many flowers come in a flower share?

This number is tricky as each flower has a different value. Typically you will receive 12 or more stems of flowers and foliage per share.

why join a csa?

Economics - By supporting a local business you keep your money circulating in our community.

Environmental Health - Buying local uses less fossil fuel for transportation and farming without pesticides and keeps harsh chemicals out of the environment. It’s better for the farmer, the land and the consumer.

Community Building - Knowing your farmer and knowing where your flowers come from is a huge part of building a stronger community.

Is there a delivery option?

At this time, there is only a pick up option. Coming to pick up at the Denton Community Market and our farm, helps to connect you to your farmer and our urban farm in a valuable way.

What is CSA Appreciation Day?

It’s a time of gratitude for your support. Although we are so grateful each week, our CSA Appreciation day is a special day where we host you here on our farm. We include refreshments and a farm tour. You’ll receive your last flower share this day.

What if I can’t make it to the CSA Appreciation day?

Please send a friend or family member. We’d love to host them in your stead.

What if I can’t pick up my flower share?

Ask family, a friend, coworker or neighbor to pick up and let them enjoy the beauty of our local flowers. If no one picks up your flower share, it will be donated to someone else in our community as a blessing.
